After midnight on Apr. 17, an officer observed a vehicle making an illegal turn and attempted to stop them. The vehicle sped away, leading to a short pursuit. It ended at the driver’s residence where the driver ran inside and refused to come out. AS officers were impounding the vehicle, the driver, Nicholas P. Otey, 29 came out and was arrested.

Officers broke up a large party at the Cutler Apartment complex on Apr. 17. They were called because residence life officials said the partiers were not dispersing at their direction. Police arrested James R. Smith II, 22 for disorderly conduct. Another person was not cooperative with Residence life officials and will be dealt with administratively.

A driver of a white RV vehicle was found to be driving under the influence on campus on Apr. 18. Jared L. Robinson, 24, registered a .216 BrAC and was arrested after police found him weaving on Alumni Drive.

A marijuana pipe was found and seized from a vehicle on Yukon Drive on Apr. 18. Due to another call, the owner was just warned and released.

A male in Bartlett Hall was reportedly harassing residents. He had left the area, but an advisement was logged that he will be trespassed from a particular room on Apr. 18.

A minor was found to be driving after consuming alcohol after numerous violations were noted on Thompson Drive and Geist. Sean P. Harr, 18 also had a small quantity of marijuana in his vehicle. He was charged with minor consuming, minor operating after consuming and misconduct involving a controlled substance on Apr. 19.

On Apr. 19, Tabitha M. Mackulin, 22 was found to be driving while under the influence. She registered a .193 BrAC and was arrested.

On Apr. 19, a person was reported not to leave the SRC when he was asked to by staff. He was contacted and given a verbal warning for disorderly conduct and trespassed from the SRC for a week.

An officer spotted an intoxicated male stumbling down the street on Tanana Loop. He was stopped and due to past occurrences of minor consuming, Jeffrey M. Kimoktoak, 18 was arrested and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

Officers were called to look into a suspicious person call at MacLean House on Apr. 22 They contacted John K. Stickman, 18, who had an active warrant for his arrest. Later that day, an officer on foot patrol observed Stickman smoking marijuana on the back porch of MacLean House. He was arrested and transported to the correctional center.

An identity theft situation involving a fictitious PayPal account was reported from Bartlett Hall on Apr. 23.
