Whereas, There is enough vagueness in ASUAF precedent and bylaws for a definition of public notice to be necessary;
Whereas, This is not meant to be applied retroactively;
Whereas, The option listed below is both possible and reasonable for the ASUAF Senate and its committees to follow;
Whereas, Some options, such as publication in the Sun Star would be good for the ASUAF senate to adapt, but might prove difficult for senate committees to follow as committees occasionally need to have special meetings; and
Whereas, Both the ASUAF senate meetings and committee meetings need to give public notice, now therefore be it
Enacted, That the following be inserted into the bylaws and that the subsequent sections be renumbered accordingly:
10.15 Public Notice- Announcements of all meetings of the ASUAF senate and its committees, and Executive Council must be: sent over the list-serve, posted in the senate chambers, and posted on the ASUAF website prior to the meeting for the meeting to be official.
